List of ingredients:
Chocolate cake mix.
2 medium eggs.
1/2 cup of oil.
1/2 cup of flour.
1/2 cup of chopped nuts.

Preheat oven to 375F.

In a bowl, mix all of the ingredients together well.

Shape into balls, flatten.

Bake on a greased cookie sheet for about 10 minutes.

4 eggs, separated.
1 packet of yeast, dry.
2 1/2 cups of flour.
2 cups of milk, lukewarm.
1/2 cup of melted butter.
1 tablespoon of sugar.
1 teaspoon of vanilla.
1/2 teaspoon of salt.


Sprinkle the dry yeast over the lukewarm milk; stirring to dissolve.

Beat the egg yolks and add to yeast mixture with the vanilla.

Sift together the flour, sugar and salt, then add to the liquid ingredients.

Stir in the melted butter and combine thoroughly.

Beat the egg whites until stiff, then fold into the mixture.

Allow to stand for about 45 mins until the mixture doubles in bulk.

Use about 1 cup of the mixture per waffle.

Ingredient List

4 six-ounce pieces of fresh tuna.
2 green onions, thinly sliced.
1 large cucumber, seeded, peeled and julienned.
1/2 cup of radish sprouts.
1/4 cup of soy sauce.
6 tablespoons of freshly ground wasabi.
3 tablespoons of peanut oil.
1 tablespoon of dry sherry.
1 1/2 teaspoons of dark sesame oil.
1 1/2 teaspoons of minced fresh ginger.
Salt and black pepper, to taste,

Preparation and Cooking

Whisk together the soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of peanut oil, dry sherry, dark sesame oil and the minced ginger.

Stir in the sliced green onions; then set aside.

Sprinkle tuna with salt and pepper.

Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of peanut oil in a heavy large skillet over high heat.

Add the tuna pieces and sear until they are opaque in middle.

Spoon the julienned cucumber onto the center of plates and top with the tuna.

Add the wasabi to the sauce mixture and spoon sauce around.

Garnish with radish sprouts.

Brownies ingredient list:

2 1/4 cups of flour.
1/2 cup of cocoa.
1 tablespoon of Baking powder.
3 cups Sugar.
1 cup Butter.
1 tablespoon of Vanilla.
6 medium eggs.
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
1 cup white chocolate chips.
1 cup chopped walnuts.

How to prepare and cook:

In a suitably sized bowl, cream the butter and sugar.

Add eggs and vanilla and mix well, adding a little flour if necessary.

Combine the flour, cocoa and baking powder.

Stir the flour mixture into creamed butter mixture well.

Pour into a greased tin 15*10*1 inch and spread evenly.

Sprinkle the top of the mixture with chips and nuts.

Bake at 350F for thirty minutes.

List of ingredients:

40 six-inch flour tortillas.
16 oz of dried apricots, snipped.
2 cups of water.
1/2 cup of packed brown sugar.
1/2 cup of granulated sugar.
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
Cooking oil.


Combine the apricots, water, brown sugar, granulated sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon in a suitably sized saucepan.

Bring to the boil; reduce heat.

Simmer for about 10 minutes or until fruit is tender and the mixture has thickened, stirring a few times.

Allow to cool.

Spoon about one tablespoon of mixture along one edge of each tortilla and roll it up.

In a large skillet, heat about half an inch of cooking oil.

Place as many tortillas as can comfortably fit stem side down in the hot oil.

Cook until golden, turning once.

Drain the tortillas, then follow the same process for the remaining tortillas.

List of salmon and mushroom quiche ingredients:

6 oz of freshly baked salmon.
6 mushrooms, sliced.
4 medium eggs.
Nine-inch pie crust.
¼ lb of grated dill havarti cheese.
2 cups of whipping cream.
2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of butter.
2 tablespoons of green onions, minced.
1 tablespoon of dill, fresh.
1 teaspoon of salt.
Pinch of pepper.
Juice of half a lemon.
Worcestershire sauce.

Preparation and cooking:

Preheat oven to 425F.

Spread one tablespoon of butter into the pie crust.

Mix the whipping cream, eggs, and salt until they are blended well.

Stir in the havarti cheese; then set aside.

Saute with two tablespoons of melted butter with the minced green onions and sliced mushrooms for about 5-6 minutes. When tender, add to cream mixture.

Bake the salmon at 350°F (175°C) for about 20-25 minutes with melted butter, juice of half a lemon, and a squirt of Worcestershire sauce.

Flake the salmon into the cream mixture.

Add the dill and a pinch of pepper; then pour into the pie crust.

Bake at 425F for about 15 minutes, then at 350F degrees for about 30-35 minutes.

Serve the quiche as desired.

8 scallops, prepared.
6 spring onions, finely sliced on the diagonal.
One inch of fresh ginger, chopped finely.
Half a cucumber, chopped.
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
2 teaspoons of plain flour.
1 teaspoon of sesame oil.
Oil, for frying.
Salt and pepper, to taste.

How to Cook Chinese Style: 

Slice the scallops, then fry in oil for about 5 minutes or until tender.

Remove from pan.

Fry the spring onions, ginger and cucumber for 2-3 minutes; next then add the scallops.

Sprinkle over the flour then add the remaining ingredients.

Stir fry until mixed thoroughly.

One of the easiest, yet most satisfying recipes you’re ever likely to find:

List of Ingredients:

12 oz of beer.
4 large pork chops.
Quarter of an onion, sliced.
Salt and pepper, to taste.

Cookery Method:

Season both sides of the pork chops with salt & pepper.

Brown the chops over a medium-high heat.

Turn the heat to low, then add 12 oz of beer and the sliced quarter onion.

Cover and braise the chops, turning them a few times, until the beer is almost gone (takes about half and hour).

Serve as desired.

It may be a while until Halloween, but here is a great pumpkin recipe:

List of ingredients:

2 cups of pumpkin.
3/4 cups of brown sugar, packed.
1 1/2 tbls of sugar.
3/4 tsp of cinnamon.
1/2 tsp of ginger.
1/2 tsp of nutmeg.
1/4 tsp of allspice.
1 1/4 cups of evaporated skim milk.
3/4 cup of egg whites, whipped.
2 1/2 tsp of vanilla.

How to cook:

Preheat your oven at 375F. Make the pie crust. In a mixing bowl, combine sugars, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. In another mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, milk, egg whites, and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Pour into prepared pie pan. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until crust is nicely browned and the filling is set in the center when jiggled.

Here is a great fudge recipes recipe for white chocolate fudge.

List of ingredients for white choc fudge:

4 cups of confectioners sugar.
3/4 cup of chopped pecans.
12 oz white chocolate, chopped.
8 oz of cream cheese.
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

How to make the fudge:

In a suitably sized bowl, beat the confectioners sugar, cream cheese and vanilla until smooth.

In the top of a double boiler, over lightly simmering water, heat the chocolate, stirring until it has melted and is smooth.

Fold the chocolate and chopped pecans into sugar/cream cheese/vanilla mixture.

Spread into a buttered eight-inch square baking dish.

Refrigerate for about one hour or until firm, then cut into squares.
